Stick with it kid
Checking in from Week 2 of Cut30 - the first of the year, and our biggest ever.
Why is it the biggest? Because 50 previous graduates chose to repeat (we cap new signups each time, but let grads repeat).
And that brings us to this weeks lesson... sticking with it.
Henry ran Cut30 a few months ago, and has run it back since. He kicked into making videos, was solid from the start. Tried a series. Tried green screen, experimented with some vlogs. 30 videos in he started to average a couple thousand views each, had a few go on TikTok.
Then he locked into the idea of a format, one of the core things we added to Cut30 at the end of last year. The idea that once your skillset is polished, you need to have a repeatable style, a combination of branding (caption, edit style etc), camera look, action etc, that is distinctly you, that feels fresh and has all the factors that lead to success as a personality talking on the internet. His third video like this? 180k on IG. His 6th (and 66th video overall)? 2.6m.
If you stick with it, focus on building a toolkit then finding your format, it will come. We're just hear to give you the playbook and keep you revved up along the way.
We appreciate you following along. The next Cut30 starts in February, you can signup here.
