Content Review - 5/29/26
Yo -
This week's theme: specificity and contrast are doing all the heavy lifting right now.

@ellescafe pulled 4.6M views on a local cafe promo by pairing an ironic premise with an odd ball high-energy execution. @inmotionwithzach turned "low maintenance men, high maintenance hobbies" into a million-view relatability bomb because it's so damn relatable to the the dudes- and their girls.

@dlsturfcourts ran a straight manual process video and cracked 1.2M because watching someone do a thing well, start to finish, is still underrated. The common thread: none of these are vague. They're specific enough to sting.
A few patterns you'll see in the Content Review this week:
- Lifestyle Showcase is the dominant concept right now.
- Relatable One Shots are going nowhere: simple premise, precise phrasing wins.
- Simple process content is also quietly outperforming a lot of more produced formats.
- Hot Takes paired with credibility are landing for niche experts.
Here's a 10 Shot you can flip right now that Zach from last session of Cut30 just posted - it just crossed 1M views on a 1900 follower account.

"Low maintenance men, high maintenance hobbies."
"Low maintenance [identity], high maintenance [unexpected contrast/contradiction]."
Run with that immediately.
